For a few crazy moments, I actually considered booking a flight to Japan so I can go to Saiyuki Festa '09. I just learned that Gaiden and Reload already ended earlier this year.

I can't find a decent bundle. Why? [;_;]
Most shops only have the accessory bundle. (Gamestop, Amazon, Toys-R-Us, etc.) I found a few ones with games (WalMart and Sam's Club), but the price is about the same when you buy the console and game separately.
The only okay one that I found is Newegg's bundle. It's with the blue one though.

Now, I'm thinking of maybe waiting for one of the special edition bundles to come out. (FF Echoes in Time, Ace Attorney, maybe even a [dare I type it] One Piece?) Gargh.


On other news, I saw part of tonight's Supernatural. after about a season and more since the last episdode I've watched it ( Onto some semi-spoilery-ness. )


Been to the Borders I wrote about. Didn't have enough memory on my phone to take a picture of the manga section. It also felt embarrassing with all the cameras around. But yes, it still says "DEATH NOTE - Alphabetical by LxLight = OTP Subject # ****-****" on one shelf.

We were at a Borders yesterday and of course, I visited the manga section. I was just browsing through the shelves when I noticed the sorting subheadings on Rave Master (I think) and it had "Alphabetical by Musical Genre" so I had to check other ones.

I find Death Note and see "Alphabetical by LxLight = OTP." I thought that was funny.

Rurouni Kenshin had "Samurai X," One Piece had "So You Want To Be A Pirate," etc. One even had "I don't know anything about this series."

Maybe I can take pictures the next time I go to that store. =3


They also had a box of Twilight conversation hearts candy. "Lamb" and "Dazzle" = lol

Speaking of OP, we were at Fry's the other day and I checked out their DS accessory sets. They had HORI stuff, so I know how the OP set will probably look like. Gah.

I still can't believe they haven't released a non-fighting OP game for the DS yet. Some action-adventure would do. They should also totally release Unlimited Cruise 1 & 2 here. I would buy the Japanese version if only the Wii wasn't region locked. Arg.

Don't Let Me Explode sounds TRL-y, as we commented on the demo. The second track reminds me of The Mudbloods. Two of the slower tracks have that Jena Campaign feel to them. Can't wait to get the new album.

It's out of stock. It's not in YHJ either. Plus they're not even making them anymore.

Googled the whole morning and finally found one that carries it. Now, it's just a question of getting it from there or waiting to see if AX09 vendors would have it. Shipping fees are known to be horrible.


During my quest:

a.1) I've finally realized how anime(or other stuff)-as-a-marketing-tool works. Behold. Maybe I would consider getting one if it was One Piece-themed. (Luffy as the king, Nami as the queen, Zoro and Sanji as the knights, the board would be Thousand Sunny, etc.) How I've fallen prey...
a.2) Found an awesome jigsaw puzzle but I don't think I would shell out 30 just to get it. >_< I think it would look better once it's framed. Gah.

b.1) It's sad when you find something new and interesting but you CAN'T play it.
b.2) Akira Ishida voices over one of the characters from b.1. Ishida-san = Hakkai. Several links down the line, I see an entry about a Saiyuuki otome game. What if there really was a (Minekura-sensei's) Saiyuki BL otome game? lol Maybe it would work as a web/Flash fan-game.

Yesterday, this post would've been:

3) Hearing Christian live again proves that his vocal style does remind me of Bamboo and I'm not going crazy
4) Being back home feels a little weird for some reason (apparation-lag?)

6) I want to see the Eheads' 2nd reunion concert, which I will have to experience through the youtubes again *sigh*

Apparently, I need more (preferably dark) pants.

Patapon is addicting. They should have it for the DS. Like they should have Little Big Planet for the Wii. Haha.

I looked for OKC Yuleball vids on the youtubes to see what's been recorded/upped. ( I watched this one because it's very catchy. )

Then I ended up watching two vids of the same song. ( Reminiscing. )

Guess 2009's finally sinking in.



OT: Somehow, my double ugh icon changed into a Yun Kouga(?) character. Theories:
a) having anything to do Patrick Star in your icon means it's illegal to have it here
b) I stayed logged in to lj and somebody at home changed it ^^;
c) someone got ahold of my password and changed it
d) somebody in lj made a mistake and copied over the wrong file or
e) somebody in lj knows who I am and changed the icon on purpose.

Hmm.

Still no reply. I'll have to decide soon.



I love going to Minekura-sensei's blog. She always has pictures in her entries, so it's fun to scroll down the page, even if you don't understand a word of the text.

Like this Cat's Paw Pandesal. (I think it's a suitable translation.)

Maybe I can actually watch one of the Saiyuki plays/musicals someday. (Gojyo's the coolest-looking of the four! I'm biased. Atsushi sounds like an uke's name. Hmm.)
